REPORTING & RELATIONSHIP: The C.E. Supervisor will report directly to
the Managing Director
RESPONSIBLE FOR: The direct delivery of services to clients in
Addiction Response Crumlin Ltd and the supervision of Community
Employment Scheme.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POST!
To effectively deliver a high level of services for people with needs
and in doing so uphold the aims and objectives of the project. To
ensure the effective and efficient direction and co-ordination of all
aspects of the project under his/her control and thereby achieve the
stated aims and purpose of the project.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* ?Ensure an efficient and effective financial and accounting system
in line with sound accounting Procedures and practices are in place.
* ?The preparation of financial returns i.e. wages claims, material
claims, and Participant Development Grant claims to the Department of
Social Protection on a monthly basis using Welfare Partners.
* ?Responsibility for payment of Participant Allowances, weekly
payroll and submission to Revenue On line
* Responsibility for the preparation of the Annual Financial
Statements and the Audit process for the Community Employment Scheme
and knowledge of SORP which will come into effect within the
organisation soon.
* ?Responsibility for the Annual Budgets for Training and Materials
grants to ensure accurate expenditure of the funds.
* ?Responsibility for the Annual Financial Monitoring visit with
the Department of Social Protection ensuring accurate financial
accounts, payroll, revenue returns, financial returns and effective
filing of participant details in line with Data Protection.
* ?Liaise with the local Department of Social Protection office.
* ?To comply with the Managing Director?s requirements in
relation to all appropriate paperwork and data relevant to the
project, in particular participant files keeping in line with Data
Protection.
* ?Installation and maintenance of effective/time/keeping record
system for participants on the Project.
* To promote participation by providing information, advice and
choices to enable individuals
* To participate more in daily decisions relating to them!
* ?To carry out Identification of Training needs process with each
participant on the project.
* ?To agree needs as part of a multidisciplinary team and to source
and cost effective training/developmental and recreational
opportunities to meet the needs identified.
* ?To prepare a Participant Development Training Plan for
submission by the Sponsor to the Department of Social Protection
within the agreed time frame.
* ?To implement the training and development opportunities which
the Department of Social Protection have approved.
* ?To maintain a training record system for each participant on the
project.
* ?To monitor and evaluate training inputs.
* ?To identify and liaise with the Managing Director on the
training needs of C.E. staff
* ?To work as part of a team and actively encourage this ethos
among the staff.
* ?To provide supervision and support to participants.
* ?To liaise with relevant voluntary agencies both locally and
nationally.
* ?To plan and co-ordinate the agreed and approved work schedules
for participants within the Project.
* ?To communicate efficiently with all participants on the project
using Team Meetings and Individual formal and informal "one to one"
meetings.
* ?To develop a mutual understanding with participants in relation
to their needs and backgrounds e.g. re- entry to part time work
opportunities and develop a progression path for each participant.
CONFIDENTIALLY
In the course of their duties the C.E. Supervisor will have access to
information concerning individuals and families using the projects
services. All such information will be treated in a strictly
confidential way.
The DSP CE Supervisor will be responsible for the safe keeping of
confidential information in such a way as to prevent unauthorised
access to the information.
In addition to your normal duties you may be required to undertake
other tasks assigned to you by the Managing Director.
You will be required on occasions to work evenings and weekends.
